Instructor of Biology
10-Month, Tenure Track Position

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Biology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Division Director, the Instructor will teach college level biology courses using a variety of delivery modes. The Instructor will integrate computer technology into curriculum and prepare laboratory activities as needed. The Instructor will also demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while exercising good judgment conducive to a collegial environment. In addition, the Instructor will assess student performance and assume additional responsibilities including student advisement; committee work; participation in special college projects; development of new innovative instructional techniques, course offerings, or programs; and participate in community service consistent with the institutional mission. Within applicable contractual provisions, teaching faculty and non-teaching professional staff are committed to the operation of the college five days a week, which may include evenings, Saturdays or Sundays.

MINIMUM SALARY:
$46,316 annual approximate, plus excellent medical insurance, retirement and related fringe benefits.
