10-Month, Tenure Track Position

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Theater.

They must also provide appropriate references. Exceptions to the degree requirements may be made for compelling reasons.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Director of the Arts & Humanities Division, the Instructor of Theater will be responsible for courses including Introduction to Theatre, Acting I and II, Theatre Practicum (that may include college productions), and/or Dramatic Literature as well as related theatre curriculum/development and service on departmental, division, and college committees. Additional responsibilities may include advisement and participation in the Student Government Association. Within applicable contractual provisions, teaching faculty and non-teaching professional staff are committed to the operation of the college five days a week, which may include evenings, Saturdays or Sundays.
MINIMUM SALARY:
$46,316 annual approximate, plus excellent medical insurance, retirement and related fringe benefits.
