ANTICIPATED STARTING DATE:
Spring Semester 2010
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related area together with from four to seven years of experience in a related field with two to four years of experience in the supervision of others; or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.

They must also provide appropriate references. Exceptions to the degree requirements may be made for compelling reasons.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct leadership of the Dean of Administration, the Director of Finance and Administrative Services manages a range of accounting, finance and administrative services at a Community College. These services may include several functional areas as assigned including, but not limited to, budget and fiscal administration; general accounting management; capital planning; bookstore operation and management; purchasing, storekeeping and inventory management; risk management; grant accounting; logistical and office support services which may include a Copy Center; administrative and financial information technology applications management; management of assigned contracted services such as food service and vending.
MINIMUM SALARY:
$71,908 annual approximate, plus excellent medical insurance, retirement and related fringe benefits.
