12-Month, Tenure-Track Position
ANTICIPATED STARTING DATE:
Spring Semester 2010
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline commensurate with the job description, plus four years’ experience in that field, two of which must be in a supervisory capacity.

They must also provide appropriate references. Exceptions to the degree requirements may be made for compelling reasons.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct leadership of the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Director recommends employment of full and part-time faculty in the division; evaluates faculty in accordance with Board policy; provides leadership to the division in the development of curricula, instructional techniques, and faculty development. Serves as liaison person with faculty, staff, students, and administrative personnel. Develops course offerings and class schedules for each semester. Understands and promotes the goals of community colleges. Transmits information on decisions of the Board, the President, and the Deans to faculty in the division. Supervises the disbursement of division funds; performs other tasks related to his/her area of competency as assigned
MINIMUM SALARY:
$71,908 annual approximate, plus excellent medical insurance, retirement and related fringe benefits.
