| March Events Calendar for Naugatuck Valley Community College
Waterbury, Conn. – The following is a calendar of March events for Naugatuck Valley Community College:
THURSDAY, APRIL 2
Naugatuck Valley Community College is holding a free Health and Wellness Expo from 10-2p.m. on Thursday, April 2, in Café West on the fifth floor of Cistulli Student Center, 750 Chase Parkway in Waterbury.
Exhibits will include blood pressure assessments, self-testing glucose meters, lung capacity testing, spinal alignment screening and back massages as well as a variety of alternative healing techniques such as Reiki, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, reflexology, relaxation therapy and holistic healing.

SATURDAY, APRIL 5
Naugatuck Valley Community College will host its fourth annual Mystery Dinner Theatre fundraiser – “Mystery Rides Again” – at 6:00p.m.on Saturday, April 4, at the Grand Oak Villa, 550 Sylvan Lake Road, Oakville.
The Agatha Christie style play engages the audience in figuring out “whodunit,” while cast members scramble to free themselves of suspicion. Directed by Tom Chute of WATR 1320-AM, the cast includes Sen. Joan Hartley; Rep. Selim Noujaim; Stephen Briotti, regional president of Century 21Access America; Mary Rosengrant Chiappalone, partner at Biondi & Rosengrant, LLC; Daisy Cocco De Filippis, Ph.D., president of Naugatuck Valley Community College; Steve Gambini, mayoral aide for the city of Waterbury; and Tony Murvin, program director of Shakesperience Productions, Inc.
The show includes a full dinner, cash bar and silent auction. Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling 203-575-8045.
MONDAY, APRIL 6
Naugatuck Valley Community College will hold free hour-long information sessions and campus tours on Monday, April 6, for anyone interested in learning about academic programs or career opportunities. The sessions will begin at 10:30a.m. and 3:00p.m. at the fifth floor information desk in Charles B. Kinney Hall on the College’s main campus, 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
