Naugatuck Valley Community College Students and Alumni Invited to Attend Career Fair 2009 on March 30

Waterbury, Conn. - Naugatuck Valley Community College is holding Career Fair 2009 on Monday, March 30, to give students and alumni the opportunity to meet with more than 30 employers from around the state that are looking to fill vacancies.

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Café West on the fifth floor of the Joseph V. Cistulli Student Center on the College’s main campus, 750 Chase Parkway in Waterbury.

Representatives from the health care, public safety, finance, engineering, landscaping, hospitality and manufacturing sectors will be on hand to answer questions and collect résumés.

Several workshops will also be held throughout the month on résumé writing, cover letters, interviewing etiquette and career planning, which are free but require registration. For information about Career Fair 2009 or to register for a workshop, call 203-575-8223.
