January Events Calendar for Naugatuck Valley Community College

Waterbury, Conn. – The following is a calendar of October events for Naugatuck Valley Community College:

MONDAY, JANUARY 5
Naugatuck Valley Community College will hold free hour-long information sessions and campus tours on Monday, January 5, for anyone interested in learning about academic programs or career opportunities.

The sessions will begin at 10:30a.m. and 3p.m. in Room K715 of Charles B. Kinney Hall at the College’s main campus, 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 10
Naugatuck Valley Community College is holding One-Day Express Registration for the spring semester from 9a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, at 12 Crosby Street in Danbury. Express registration will allow students to apply to the college, take the placement exam, meet with an advisor, register for courses, speak with a financial aid representative and pay for classes in only a few hours.  
   
Students can also apply online at www.nvcc.commnet.edu before January 10 to get a head start on the process.  
 
Registration begins at 9a.m. and placement testing will start at 10a.m. Students can register until 2p.m. For more information call (203)575-8000.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17

Express registration will allow students to apply to the college, take the placement exam, meet with an advisor, register for courses, speak with a financial aid representative and pay for classes in only a few hours.  
   
Students can also apply online at www.nvcc.commnet.edu before January 17 to get a head start on the process.  
 
Registration and placement testing begin at 8a.m. Orientation will be held from 12p.m. to 2p.m.  Students can register until 1p.m. For more information call (203)575-8000.
