Ninety-one Year Old Poet Honored by NVCC Faculty and Staff

NVCC faculty and staff received signed copies of Lillian Stepney’s “The Carousel of Life” through a College drawing on Thursday, December 11. Waterbury, Conn. – Ninety-one year old poet Lillian Stepney of Morris recited poems from her book “The Carousel of Life” at Naugatuck Valley Community College on Thursday, December 11.  Her poems have largely been written during the last several decades of her life. Stepney signed five copies of her book. Four copies were raffled off in a College drawing for faculty and staff and the final copy was donated to the NVCC library. Stepney’s book was published by Dark Horse Studio of Waterbury in January 2007.
