NVCC Employees Honored for up to 40 Years of Service

NVCC employees Mary Sullivan, professor of nursing, and Estelle Simpson, professor of English, were honored for 35 years of service to the College.

Waterbury, Conn. – Forty-nine Naugatuck Valley Community College employees were honored Thursday, December 11, for up to 40 years of service to the College and the state of Connecticut.

The faculty and staff were recognized at a ceremony that lauded their dedication and commitment to the College and its goals.

One employee, Justin Pagano, was honored for forty years of service.

Two employees were honored for 35 years of service: Estelle Simpson and Mary Sullivan.

Five employees were honored for 30 years of service: Louise Bacchiocchi, Joseph Faryniarz, John Gibbs, Edward Nolan and Jacqueline Tedesco.

Five employees were honored for 25 years of service: Barbara Antonicka, Charles E. Klemeshefsky, B.J. Plouffe, Bonnie Simon and James Zagroba.

Nine employees were honored for 20 years of service: Nancy Bell, Barry Groman, Edward Nicholson, William Olear, Joe Sainz, Sharon Shapiro, Pedro Soto, Eugene Wisniewski and Betty Lou Wooster.

Ten employees were honored for 15 years of service: Bruce Arsenault, Eileen George, Ted Hargrove, Elizabeth Kaufman, Walter Lippincott, Melanie Majeski, Gloria Quirk, Elena (Del Vecchio) Rusnak, Linda Stango and Wade Tarzia.
