Waterbury Symphony Orchestra to Perform with Naugatuck Valley Community College Choir

Waterbury, Conn. – The Naugatuck Valley Community College Choir will perform in concert with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, November 16,featuring the work of Bach, Mozart and Corelli.

The 3 p.m. performance will be held in the Mainstage Theatre in the College’s Fine Arts Center, located on its main campus at 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.

The Choir will perform Bach’s Cantata 191 “Gloria in Excelsis,” Handel Messiah part I and Corelli Concerto Grosso “Christmas.” The performance includes a pre-concert lecture by Dr. Richard Gard, choir conductor.
