Physical Therapist Assistant Program Deadline Approaching at Naugatuck Valley Community College

Waterbury, Conn. – Students interested in enrolling in Naugatuck Valley Community College’s physical therapist assistant program, which begins in the spring of 2009, have until Wednesday, October 15 to apply.

NVCC’s physical therapist assistant (PTA) program offers associate degrees to prepare students for state licensure as PTAs through a collaborative arrangement with Capital, Housatonic, Manchester, Northwestern Connecticut and Tunxis community colleges.

PTAs work for hospitals, school systems, private offices, home health agencies and industrial settings.
