“Faces of Connecticut’s Fallen” 9/11 Exhibit at Naugatuck Valley Community College

Waterbury, Conn. – A ceremony to welcome the “Faces of Connecticut’s Fallen” exhibit will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, in the Leever Atrium at Naugatuck Valley Community College. The exhibit will remain at the College until October 27 and will be open to the public.

“Faces of Connecticut’s Fallen” serves as a tribute to honor the 43 Connecticut soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who have died in the line of duty.  The memorial is travelling to each of Connecticut’s eight counties this year.  It was previously in West Hartford, Waterford, Milford and Bridgeport.

The ceremony will be officiated by Waterbury Mayor Michael Jarjura and Connecticut Department of Veterans’ Affairs Commissioner Linda Schwartz.  Other state and local dignitaries are anticipated to attend.
