Apply, register now for fall credit semester at NVCC

WATERBURY (July 19, 2006) — Applications and registrations are being accepted now for the fall credit semester at Naugatuck Valley Community College, which begins Monday, Aug. 28.

NVCC offers more than 100 associate degree and credit certificate programs and serves 35 communities across western Connecticut from Litchfield to Waterbury to Seymour to Southbury and Danbury.

Students can apply on the Web at www.nvcc.commnet.edu, where copies of the fall schedule are also available. Applications and the fall schedule are also available by calling the Admissions Office at (203) 575-8151.

For those students who aren’t sure whether NVCC is right for them, the college is holding two one-hour information sessions with campus tours in the coming weeks to help them decide:

• Monday, July 24, at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.;
• Monday, Aug. 7, at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The sessions begin on campus at Kinney Hall, Room K505. NVCC’s 110-acre, main campus is located at 750 Chase Parkway off exit 18 on Interstate 84.
