Each course runs for six weeks and consists of
twelve lessons. Interactive quizzes, assignments,
tutorials, and online discussion areas supplement
the lessons.
All materials will be made available to you over the web, unless otherwise noted on the course description page. Instructors post a new lesson every Wednesday and Friday.
Start dates can be found in the latest non-credit course catalog.
Take a moment to participate in a demonstration of an actual Distance Learning course. Be sure to note any prerequisites or software requirements. Go to www.ed2go.com/nvcc and click on Demo in the top tool bar.

After you have selected a course from the catalog, you must complete the required online orientation for that course. During this orientation, you will learn about specific course requirements, how to access your classroom, and other important information. You'll also be granted an opportunity to select the password that you will use to access your course materials.
To complete your orientation go to www.ed2go.com/nvcc and click on Courses in the top tool bar. Click on the Department for your course and then click on the course. To begin the orientation click on the Enroll Now button on the course page.
Once you finish the orientation, come back to NVCC to register and pay for your courses.

Certificate of Completion
Once you have successfully completed your course be sure to immediately access and print your Certificate of Completion from the ed2Go web site. These certificates are available only from the ed2Go web site.
State of Connecticut CEU’s
State of Connecticut CEU’s are now available for the courses listed under Courses for Teaching Professionals through ed2go. See the current course listing.
Each course qualifies for 2.4 CEU’s. To receive your CEU certificate once you have successfully completed any of these courses please contact Teri Smith at tsmith@nvcc.commnet.edu or 203-596-2191.
