Registration Steps:
- Complete the Registration form located in the KOC catalog.
- Complete the Confidential information form in the KOC catalog.
- Attach a current report card.
- Attach the proper payment (watch the lab fees).
- Send all material no later than the third week in June, 2000.

- From Rt. 8, take Danbury exit to I-84 West. Take first exit, exit 18, bear left. At
light take left on West Main St. Go to second light, take a right into the East entrance
of the college campus.
- From I-84 West, take exit 18, bear left. At light take left on West Main St. Go to
second light and take a right into the East entrance of the college campus.
- From I-84 East, take exit 18, At light take a right. At the next light take a right over
the bridge. At light take a left. Go to first light and take a right into the East
entrance of the college.
Supervised Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
The upper parking lot (east entrance) is the designated location for all
drop-off and pick-up of your child. Student assistants meet children at the designated
location and escort them, as necessary, to and from class. NOTE: For those parents
registering for afternoon programs-if a child has not been picked up by 4:15pm the child
will be escorted to our security office where he/she will wait for your arrival. (see
map).
Supervised Lunch Services:
Students participating in both a morning and afternoon session will be escorted to the
cafeteria for lunch, and then, to their afternoon program. Our Cafeteria provides
reasonable prices hot and cold lunch, a sandwich and salad bar, as well as vending
machines. The lunch hour from 12:00 - 1:00 is supervised. The cafeteria is located in the
Student Center Building.

- Facilities
- NVCTC has the most up-to-date laboratories, studios, classrooms, and equipment to meet
the most demanding of interests.
- Transportation
- Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick up of their children. Unless otherwise
noted, morning classes begin at 9:00am and end at noon. Afternoon classes begin at 1:00pm
and end at 4:00pm. Please plan accordingly.
- Cancellation
- All KOC courses are self-supporting and must meet minimum enrollment figures in order to
run. The college reserves the right to cancel any class that does does not meet these
requirements.
- Behavior Code
- All students and parents complete a contract with the college to insure the safety and
most effective experiences. This form is located in the KOC catalog and must be returned
with your registration. Please be sure that you read this agreement carefully and
together. We will need a parent/guardian and participant signature.
- Money Matters
- All course prices are $175.00 unless otherwise noted. Lab fees have been added to those
courses which incur such cost.
- Grade Level
- Students entering 4th grade through 10th grade this fall are eligible for KOC. Note the
grade levels listed with each course description.
- Lunch Break
- Students who have registered for both morning and afternoon sessions will have lunch
from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the cafeteria under adult supervision. Students may bring a bag
lunch or buy lunch in the cafeteria.
- Refunds
- All requests for refunds must be received in the Continuing Education/Community Services
Office in writing prior to the beginning of classes. Direct all refund requests to D.
Calabro. No refunds will be issued without notification or after classes have begun.
