Study two and three dimensional mechanical designs. Learn how to critique and display your drawings. Grade 7-10
Learn what makes rockets fly by safely building your very own model rocket and then launch it 500 ft. into space. Learn about the history of rockets by visiting the NASA web site. How will wind and velocity impact your rocket? Test the laws of physics and learn how rockets are stabilized and balanced. Take your completed rocket home with you and recreate your KOC experience with your family and friends. Grade 7-10
Join us as we explore the exciting world of
electrinic music composition through a
hands-on introduction to the Multimedia
Computer as a composition tool. This course
is designed for those students who already
have a basic knowledge of music including
reading and writing. Utilizing specific
excercises, students will study and compose
music in a number of styles(classical, jazz,
and popular). Learn about composition and
style, harmony, counter-point, and rhythm.
Discover the power of MIDI recording,
notationo, WAVE and MIDI files. Basic
computer keyboard skills would also be
helpful. Each student needs to provide one
walkman headset. Grade 7-10
